HOUSE RE-DEDICATION CEREMONY. Habitat will re-dedicate the "Dwayne Metcalf" house located at 708 N. Elliott Ave. in Martinsville. The house has been completely rehabilitated, and will be sold to new partner family April Long and her children. The ceremony will take place Sunday, Sept. 7, at 2:00 pm with an open house immediately following. The public is welcome to attend.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY.."Volunteer Coordinator"Habitat needs a person who is able to spend one or two days per week. Primary responsibilities will be to help us set up our data base of volunteers, recruit more volunteers to man all our functions and to assist our resource coordinator. Telephoning portion of the job could easily be done from home. Contact Bob Elliott if interested.

BOX TRUCK..We need funds to purchase a used box truck for the Habitat Re-Store. It will replace a worn-out 1985 pick up truck, and be used for pick up and delivery of larger items for the store. If you wish to contribute towards this purchase, please indicate "box truck" in the memo of your check.

Morgan County Habitat funds the vast majority of its house construction costs through the Home Builders Program. Here is an opportunity to get your church group, business or group of dedicated individuals involved in building a Habitat house and at the same time help pay for the materials needed.
