Join the Habitat HOME TEAM Mission Program Think Global...WORK LOCAL! When mission trips are mentioned, all too often we picture far away places, exotic plants and animals, and excitement. While all this may be true, we also think of the fellowship of people engaged in important work, the renewing of old and developing of new relationships, inspiring and fulfilling the heart's desire to do good. For most of us, the opportunity to travel to far off missions is beyond our reach...BUT, the opportunity for fellowship, inspiration, and doing good work from the heart is right here in our own community! Local mission teams are providing the much needed help to their friends and neighbors right here at home eeryday...it is VITAL work that builds up our community and makes life better for ALL of us...and does impact the world. This year, gather a TEAM of your own to help with Habitat’s mission to eliminate poverty housing in Morgan County. THE HOME TEAM: (1) Twelve committed members make up a team. (2) Team is committed to working together over twelve months, including a Saturday build day, to collectively raise $2400 for funding the home’s construction. (3) Team committed to having fellowship and fun in the work process! THE FUNDING COMMITMENT: $200 per team member X 12 members = $2400
DON'T HAVE A TEAM?... YOU CAN PLAY TOO ! Although the concept is team building, there is always room for the individual as well.
